Di Parker throws with porcelain, then hand coils with a special sort of stoneware that contains mica so is much stronger than normal stoneware, hence the thinness.
She hand draws the decorations and inlays underglaze colour before glazing with a transparent glaze of her own recipe. The blue glaze is also her own recipe and contains cobalt and titanium.
Each pot is fired twice, with the glaze firing at 1260 degrees centigrade.
Each mug size is slightly different: drinking area is approximately 9cms diameter and 7cms depth.
