Ani is a ceramicist and sculptor predominately based on life studies of natural forms. Working in the round with clay, wax or plaster and scrim, the beauty and anatomy of form she finds infinitely inspiring, challenging, fascinating. and pleasurable. Ani accidentally discovered her interest in sculpture in her middle years, after a challenging but gratifying career of over 21 years as an Art Psychotherapist in NHS day and acute adolescent services - she felt she had come home as an artist!
Ani's bronze resin sculpture, 'Serenity' is installed in the courtyard outside our gallery.
