Sou'-Sou'-West Gallery is part of Lyme Bay Arts, a CIC (Community Interest Company) Not for Profit organisation. We offer opportunities to exhibit through our open exhibitions and venue hire. Our two flexible spaces are constantly changing enabling both locals and visitors of all ages a huge variety of inspiration throughout the year.
Sharing the love in 2026
We invite you to take part in our new fundraising scheme to help support exhibition opportunities for local education and community groups.
We are inviting people to create a piece of work about the size of a postcard which they are willing to donate to the gallery to sell for £20. Proceeds of sales in 2026 will go directly to fund opportunities for local schools and care homes to exhibit in a professional gallery.

Affordable Show Opportunities in 2026
Are you interested in having your first solo exhibition but not quite sure what's involved? Take part in one of our one week "pop-up" solo exhibitions and we will guide you through the all aspects of setting up your own show.
We can offer:
- Experienced mentors and curators
- A professional gallery in a beautiful location
- Affordable fees
- Collaboration between the artist and gallery at every stage of preparation
Open Call Out
Springtime
We invite submissions for Springtime, our first Open Exhibition of 2026, which will take place in the Main Gallery 5th February until 2nd March.
Spring time is a time for clearing out the old and bringing in the new so maybe use this as an opportunity to revisit older work or explore new ideas. Both 2D and 3D artworks welcome.
Deadline for submissions: Sunday 1st February.
