Di Parker

Di trained in ‘studio pottery’ at Derby Art College 1980-83, and followed this up with a post-graduation Cert Ed from Thames Polytechnic in 1989.
She worked as a secondary school art teacher for about 27 years, teaching art and design to GCSE students, and textiles to A level standard.
In between having children Di also worked as a potter intermittently, and when she took early retirement in 2017 she was able to start making pots more frequently.
Di moved to Dorset in October 2019 and established her workshop here.
She is loving life on the Jurassic Coast, and is heavily influenced by her rural surroundings.
