Mandy Selhurst 'Favourites'

The aim of my pictures is to be full of texture, loose, colourful and semi abstract because I do want my work to be easily recognisable.

I use acrylic paint and a combination of palette knife and brush plus a sketchbook. I use a camera which, truly, I try hard to keep in my pocket!

Living in the hills of West Dorset is inspirational enough. Before moving here in 2017 I lived in Stow-on-the-Wold in the Cotswolds. I exhibited in that area, also in London, Stratford on Avon, and since moving to Dorset, Beer.

I am a member of the long established Oxford Art Society together with Bridport Art Society.
