Since retirement and over the many years of creating textile-related items I have arrived at making and exhibiting framed textile pictures, wall quilts and collages .  I have attended many workshops and masterclasses by well-known textile artists and obtained many City & Guilds certificates in various textile fields.   I am a colour person first and foremost and this medium has enabled me to thoroughly enjoy myself with colours - in particular my wall quilts.  More recently I have added paper collages to my portfolio and am now also really addicted to this.
