Beneath and Beyond

Organised by Jan Alison Edwards as part of her MA Fine Art Falmouth module (Collaboration) which began with an immersive screening of the video Beneath and Beyond (filmed in a garden pond), shown in March 2026 at Spud Works, Sway, Hampshire SO4I 6BA in which creative writers and artists were invited to give responses in word or image. The concept for this event was to find new ways of reconnecting to the natural world and to ignite a spark in the unconscious genetic memory. 

Beneath and Beyond – a collection of words, poems, artists, books and more created by the participants as a response to the video will be included in the exhibition. The individual responses in words have also been compiled in a hand made artist book with five copies.
